Caroline is a native Clevelander and a proud mom of 6 children, 5 boys and one princess. She has been a certified trainer for 10+ years with certifications/trainings from AFAA (group fitness and personal training), Mad Dogg Spinning, Balanced Body Reformer and Mat Pilates, TRX, and Drums Alive. She created her own barre style class and teaches group boxing fitness as well. Caroline grew up as a competitive USTA junior tennis player and began running for fitness after realizing she had quickly gotten out of shape in college. Starting with a walk-run one mile, Caroline completed her first marathon 2 years later and has since done many races from 3K's to more full and half marathons.
Her fitness mantra is: Be determined and disciplined because anything is possible!
Cassandra is a certified yoga instructor who completed her 200-hour training in 2013 through Bhumi’s Yoga in Columbia Station and her 500-hour professional level training through TRY 4 Life Yoga Teacher Training in Aurora. In 2016, she completed an internship under Judi Bar, E-RYT 500, who is director of the yoga program at the Cleveland Clinic Wellness Institute. She is registered with Yoga Alliance.
Cassandra also received her Reiki Master certification in the spring of 2016, and received certifications in therapeutic yoga, chakra yoga/Reiki restructuring and yoga nidra in March of 2016.
She enjoys connecting the mind and body, bringing relaxation, balance and mindfulness to her students' lives, and welcomes people of all levels to her classes. Cassandra focuses on breath work, meditation and alignment, and believes everyone, no matter what age, ailments or challenges, can benefit from yoga.
By day, she is a full-time journalist/editor of three newspapers in the Geauga County area — The Geauga County Maple Leaf, Chesterland News and Kirtland Chronicle. By night, she likes to practice and teach yoga and lead weekly meditations. Her other passions include music, the arts, animals, playing guitar and piano, creative writing, sketching, meditation, playing her singing bowls, traveling, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the outdoors.
Daria Classen is a Registered Yoga teacher and a Comprehensive Pilates instructor. She is a Master Rated Choreographer and instructor in Figure Skating. Her love of teaching movement has been a driving force in her continuing to stay on the cutting edge of self-care through her evolution as a competitive athlete to compassionate teacher.
Please join Daria as we immerse ourselves in a Pilates/Yoga Fusion class. We will begin with deep core work on the mat and finish with a slow vinyasa flow that will leave you feeling strong, long, and centered.
All levels welcome. Modifications will be given.
Please bring a thick mat (or double mats), towel, and water.
